Just a reminder that Camp Connections session l, From July 16 – 21 still has lots of room. Why not bring a friend. Who in your church area hasn’t experienced camp? What friend from school would

you like to have come? Think about it! Applications are available on our website, and the less expensive

pricing is available for all first year campers.

Hello to you all, and Happy May/June!

It’s hard to say for sure, but I think May is my very favourite month of the year. It’s the month where we can take off all those extra coats, finally leave our snow

boots behind, and feel like perhaps we’ve lost 20 pounds! May is a time when things begin to grow again. I love

watching the leaves come out in that new spring green. Today we had warm weather and several rain showers, and I could practically watch the grass turn green over the course of the day. It’s an exciting time.

May is also a time of endings and beginnings in other things. Many will finish milestones in school, and celebrate with a “commencement ceremony” which means “beginning”.

For those of you nearing a change in school, finish strong!

We don’t always get to begin fresh with people when we’ve messed up. It’s a hard thing, but people don’t forget, and

people get hurt, and they lose trust with us. The amazing thing is that with God it’s not that way. If we apologize and ask to begin again, God forgives us, and we always get a fresh start. God doesn’t hold grudges, He knows us and knows our human nature. There is no time when He draws the line and says “now you have done too much” IF we are willing to return to Him.

We want to wish you an amazing May. Enjoy the world you are surrounded by, and all the beautiful new growth. Know

that can be a metaphor for the opportunities that will face you. If you’ve moved away from God, know all it takes is for you to tell Him you want to return and you can have a new start!

All the best to you all!

    Lynn and Dennis Lawrence
